Rob Woolson has more than 18 years’ leadership and technical delivery experience in providing clinical research services to pharmaceutical and biotech companies through all phases of clinical development. He is a multi-disciplinary leader who is versed in leading biometrics (biostatistics, statistical programming, data management and clinical data standards), regulatory strategy and submission, and technology innovation functions.

As Chief Operating Officer at Everest, Rob oversees Everest’s operational strategies, high quality delivery, service innovation, and profitable growth of Everest’s core services. Rob brings his hands-on and methodical approach to driving business growth, mentoring and expanding global teams, establishing and strengthening client partnerships, and achieving strong operational and financial performance.

Rob began his career as a biostatistician and quickly advanced into leadership roles, with his last position as Senior VP of various key functions for a mid-sized global CRO. He has a proven track record of success in partnering with biotech and pharmaceutical companies, actively engaging with client and project teams to provide high caliber solutions and ensure exceptional service delivery. His commitment to excellence is reflected in an industry-leading client retention rate of over 95%. Additionally, Rob drove three-fold revenue increases, exceeded profitability targets, and effectively led geographical expansion initiatives in his prior leadership role.

An accomplished researcher, Rob has been named as an author on more than 20 abstracts and publications. He has extensive experience engaging with global regulatory agencies and has played key roles as a development and biostatistics presenter in 12 U.S. FDA and EMA marketing application approvals. Additionally, he has supported over 30 regulatory agency meetings and numerous U.S. FDA Advisory Committee meetings.

Rob holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Northwestern University, an M.S. in Applied Statistics, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.), both from DePaul University.
