Andrew Cook has over 35 years of successful experience in human resources management with national and multinational companies in a variety of industries including health care, hi-tech manufacturing, automotive, and hospitality industries. Andrew’s experience includes more than 20 years in an executive capacity with outreach to 30,000+ employees. Andrew joined Everest in 2007 as Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Affairs.
Andrew is responsible for oversight of Everest’s global Corporate Management, global Human Resources, and global Accounting and Finance. Andrew contributes his invaluable strengths of being a strategic thinker and thought leader, and demonstrates strong leadership in corporate development and talent acquisition, and in training and development of Everest staff.
Before joining Everest, Andrew held positions of Director, Human Resources at Fairmont Royal York, Toronto, Ontario, Canada for 11 years, and other prior human resources management positions in various industries.
Andrew earned his B.Comm. degree from the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, and holds a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation.
