Sandra Dinescu has over 20 years of pharmaceutical clinical research, medical laboratory and hospital care experience. She brings her hands-on practical GCP/GLP experience in quality assurance auditing, project coordination, training, and management skills to Everest, leading as the Director, Quality Assurance and Compliance. Sandra holds certifications as a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP).

Sandra joined Everest in 2015 as Manager, Quality Assurance and Compliance, advancing to her present position through her strong commitment, dedication and success in achieving corporate goals in building and enhancing Everest’s Quality Management System. She has been leading the Everest Quality Assurance and Compliance department and continuously improving/enhancing Everest’s Quality Management System (QMS) and maintaining its ISO certification status. Quality is Everest’s backbone and the Quality Assurance and Compliance function is an important function within Everest. Sandra has been directly reporting to the CEO of Everest since joining Everest, and has successfully led and implemented numerous corporate level QMS initiatives. Sandra has held positions of Manager, Senior Manager, Associate Director, and her current position, Director, all within the Quality Assurance and Compliance Department. Prior to joining Everest, Sandra held positions including Corporate Quality Auditor at Gamma-Dynacare Medical Laboratories, Training Coordinator at Lambda Therapeutic Research, and Quality Assurance Auditor at Biovail Contract Research Division for a combined 10 years. Earlier in her career Sandra has worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator in a research organization and Clinical Technician in a hospital division.

Sandra initially studied General Medicine in Romania and later on migrated to Canada, and obtained her Honours B.Sc. degree in a Microbiology Specialist Program from the University of Toronto in 2001.
