Nina Chan, B.N.Sc., B.A., R.N.
Nina has 19 years of pharmaceutical clinical research and hospital nursing practice experience. She started her clinical research career in a hospital research unit as a Clinical Research Coordinator in 2002. Joined the Contract Research Organization Phase I clinic as a Research Coordinator in 2005. She then quickly grew into managerial positions within the clinic, was overseeing the research projects from study set up, conduct, and close out. Her experience evolved from focusing on Phase I studies to also involving in the later phase trials. She transitioned to project management since 2012.
Nina joined Everest in 2015, where she brings her vision and strong experience managing cross-functional departments, leading, mentoring, and motivating others to ensure Everest’s projects are completed according to the highest quality and customer service standards. As Director of Project Management, Nina is working with her direct reports of Project Managers, supporting a large portfolios of ongoing clinical projects. Nina is always on the front line of customer service delivery, exemplified the Everest culture, vision, and values, and is the clients’ trusted partner of their clinical trials. Prior to coming to Everest, Nina was a Senior Manager, Clinical Operations and Quality Assurance at Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Prior to this position, Nina was the Manager, Clinical Research at INC Research.
Nina obtained her B.N.Sc. degree in Nursing Science and B.A. in Psychology from Queens University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
