Kirk Bateman joined Everest in 2020 with over 20 years of experience leading statistical and programming efforts in clinical research. Kirk is a seasoned Biostatistician and a proven leader in clinical trial biostatistics and statistical programming. He is providing executive oversight in Everest global Statistics and Statistical Programming operations, working with his direct reports and teams located in USA, Canada and China; developing and maintaining client relationships, project portfolios, and supporting clinical research programs. Kirk brings his breadth of clinical trial experience supporting statistical and programming projects, Data and Safety Monitoring Boards, statistical consulting, and involving in process development and improvement, along with his ability to effectively bring together cross functional teams. Kirk has worked across most therapeutic areas, and has focused, solid expertise in ophthalmology and oncology.

Kirk comes to Everest with previous senior management experience from Statistics and Data Corporation and having worked in previous roles at Bausch & Lomb as Manager, Biostatistics and Data Management; Principal Biostatistician; and Senior Biostatistician. Kirk began his career as a Biostatistician at PPD. Kirk is well published in several journals supporting ophthalmology research.

Kirk earned his M.Sc. degree in Biostatistics at the University of Iowa and his B.Sc. in Statistics at Brigham Young University in Utah.
