Irene Zhang is the Founder, President and CEO of Everest Clinical Research Corporation, from its inception in January 2004 to present. She has more than 35 years of experience in pharmaceutical new drug development, medical and clinical research, and Contract Research Organization (CRO) business development and management. Irene worked for North American based pharmaceutical companies Johnson & Johnson, the Upjohn Company, Pharmacia Corporation, and the Pfizer Corporation from 1989 to 2003. She was the Head of Statistical and Data Management Center for Global Medical Affairs organization of Pharmacia Corporation. Irene founded Everest Clinical Research Corporation in January 2004 following Pfizer’s acquisition of Pharmacia Corporation. 

Irene demonstrates strong leadership for results, holds high professional and ethical standards, and has a strong commitment for excellence. She has broad business knowledge and perspective, and excellent technical skills and functional knowledge for the core services that Everest provides to its clients. She is highly experience in business development and management, operational performance management, benchmarking, and improving organization’s profitability. Irene is also experienced and highly competent in managing change. 

Irene received her M.Sc. degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
