Gergana has over 20 years of experience in the CRO industry. She was the Managing Director of August Research, prior to its acquisition by Everest in November 2023. Gergana joined August Research in 2012 and helped build and expand the company’s operations to 14 countries across Europe. Prior to August Research, Gergana worked at PPD as Legal Manager, which she joined through PPD’s acquisition of AbCRO, a CRO focused on providing clinical operations services in Central and Eastern Europe to global CROs and biopharmaceutical. While at AbCRO, Gergana held numerous positions including General Manager where she was responsible for the company’s expansion activities.

Gergana has a B.Sc. degree in Business Administration and a M.Sc. in Macroeconomics from Sofia University. Gergana also holds an Executive MBA from the American University in Bulgaria.
