Chris K. Southard, M.A.
Chris Southard has more than 22 years of combined industry experience in a clinical research organization (CRO) as an Executive Director, Project Director, Project Manager, and as a Research Site Director. Chris has extensive experience in leading successful global full service trials, and has supported biotechnology, medical devices and large pharmaceutical clients in the management of complex clinical designs. He has also served in the capacity of strategic and therapeutic advisor on multiple registration programs for pharmaceutical clients. His experience includes phase I-IV clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas with a strong emphasis in CNS (Central Nervous System) disorders.
Chris joined Everest after 14 years at Syneos Health in March of 2022 as the head of the Project Management department. He provides departmental leadership and executive oversight across all aspects of Everest’s project management activities. He is charged with ensuring overall client satisfaction with projects and services delivered according to Everest’s quality standards. Chris also plays a key role in cultivating partnerships and developing project management processes, tools and people.
Chris earned his B.A. in psychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an M.A. degree in marriage and family therapy from the University of San Diego. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of California.
